Why we give:

Slavery in any form is repugnant and inconsistent with Biblical teaching. Modern-day slavery or human trafficking exists whenever people are bought and sold for forced labor or commercial sex. Around the world, it is estimated that there are over 40 million slaves today. Human trafficking has been reported in all 50 states, and the number of victims in the United States is estimated in the hundreds of thousands. While illegal, human trafficking is a booming business. Traffickers recruit out of our schools, online, in shopping malls, as well as the streets and other locations. A large percentage of the people trafficked are women and children. Many of them are used in the sex industry. They are the prostituted people on the street and in private homes, and in legitimate businesses such as restaurants, truck stops, and motels. They need to be identified and recovered. Truckers Against Trafficking is a nonprofit organization that trains truck drivers and the trucking, bus, and energy industries to combat human trafficking.

Why we give:

The Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center (BRPC) is dedicated to helping men and women faced with an unplanned pregnancy. BRPC is committed to their personal care. They offer:

• PREGNANCY TESTS: lab-quality pregnancy tests are performed by a nurse and are 99% accurate. All pregnancy tests are free of charge.
• ULTRASOUND: An ultrasound or sonogram is a simple, painless diagnostic test.
• COUNSELING: It can be overwhelming to be faced with an unplanned pregnancy. BRPC offers free confidential and caring, peer-to-peer counseling for women and men who are faced with this difficult decision. They do not provide abortions or refer for abortions.
• POST-ABORTION HELP: Have you had an abortion? Wondering how to move forward? BRPC can help you find hope after an abortion. They know that the decision to abort can have life-changing consequences, but you don’t have to deal with them alone. BRPC offers a judge-free place where you can talk to others who have made that same decision so that you can experience peace.
• PREGNANCY & LIFE COACHING CLASSES: BRPC offers Pregnancy and Life Coaching Classes to help inform and educate men and women on prenatal and infant care. Participants of this program will be rewarded with resources that will help take off some of the financial stress, so that they can be the best parent that they can be.

Why we give:

Calvary Chapel Lynchburg is the Blain family’s church home. Among the Church’s core values is the belief that the Lord has led us to do three things: 1) Encounter God through Spirit-filled worship and dynamic prayer. 2) Equip the Saints with solid Bible-teaching and meaningful fellowship. 3) Evangelize the world through local outreaches and global missions. Why we give:

Liberty Counsel is an international litigation, education, and policy organization dedicated to advancing religious freedom, the sanctity of life, and family. Liberty Counsel has successfully represented clients before the United States Supreme Court, federal courts of appeal, federal district courts, state supreme, appellate, and trial courts, and administrative agencies, and have spoken or testified before Congress, state legislative committees, and in local government meetings. They have defended the sanctity of life, marriage, religious freedom, and other God and Constitutionally protected freedoms for 33 years.

Why we give:

The trucking industry has always been very near to Richard’s heart.  He grew up in this very tight-knit community. After over 30 years and 5,000,000 miles, Richard stepped down out of his truck, “not for the last time, but for a time” to return to school to finish his Law degree. Truckers Final Mile is an organization designed to reunite truck drivers and their families in the event of loss of life. For Richard and all the Blain family, this organization is holding on to part, if not all, of that tight-knit mentality.

Why we give:

Richard founded R.W.C. in 2011 because he saw how Over the Road Truck Drivers like him were unable to be a part of a Church at home. Rolling Warriors for Christ exists to help those who don't have the ability to go to their "Home Church" every week to have a place to worship, fellowship, and belong. Rolling Warriors for Christ is a ministry devoted to winning souls for Christ out on the open road. We give (free of charge) Bibles to Truckers and travelers, occasionally pay for a meal, and occasionally when a traveler wants to go home, we will pay for their ticket. R.W. C. also provides Mail Order Bible Studies and Classes to Drivers to become Pastors and Chaplains.

Why we give:

Our liberty, as well as our history, is vital to our homeland’s existence. Patrick Henry’s impassioned speeches on liberty paved the way for our founding. But he did not just talk; he was a man of action. His life is one that is admired greatly by the Blain Family and, taking nothing away from God’s will in this endeavor, is the engine that powers Richards’s journey through Law School. His last residence “Red Hill” is home to recreated structures like his home and blacksmith’s shop. His Law office is the only original building left. Red Hill is also the site where Patrick Henry is buried. Red Hill tells the story of many lives that came into contact with Patrick Henry’s as well as his own. The Patrick Henry Memorial Foundation has done a superb of job caring for this property for close to 80 years.

Elijah Rising was founded in 2012 as a prayer gathering that focused on ending sex trafficking in Houston. BUT we (For Yahweh Enterprises, LLC) could not describe better what God has built and what he is doing now through Elijah Rising than those who work every day for them. Why we give:

One of the biggest joys to every member of the Blain family during Christmas time is getting to shop for their “Christmas Child”. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. This year For Yahweh Enterprises, LLC and all its employees have a goal of filling a 53-foot semi-truck with cases of shoe boxes. We hope to work with Samaritan’s Purse so that these boxes are sent to and distributed to the children of Ukraine.

Why we give:

IN THE WORKS - The For Yahweh Foundation will be the Philanthropic arm of For Yahweh Enterprises, LLC. Through this foundation For Yahweh Enterprises will be able to give back to local, national, and world communities. The For Yahweh Foundation will change lives through personal and social change by equipping communities with resources for spiritual sustainability and growth, political health, and building up and equipping tomorrow’s leaders. Unlike most foundations, the For Yahweh Foundation’s Board of Directors are all volunteers and employee salaries are capped at $50,000 per year.

Why we give:

The For Yahweh Scholarship Fund gives grants to Liberty University students in need. Students in an undergrad, master’s, or terminal degree program with at least a 2.0 GPA, and at least one year remaining before graduating can apply. Students in any program of study will be considered but preferential priority will be given to students of the Helm’s School of Government, The Rawlings School of Divinity, The School of Music, and Liberty University School of Law.
